Evette Goldhar, Alison Goldman, Lisa Singer, Pamela Stein, Raina Stein worked for more than 6 months
to find potential acts, event sponsors and silent auction and raffle donors, to arrange concessions, permits, delivery and
setup and to plan the day.

The 2008 Sasha Bella Fund walk and fun day began under a canopy of trees as long time Sickkids volunteer Frank Gavin shared
his own definition of family-centred care. Returning walkers enjoyed the
the amazing music of Sho Mo + The Monkey Bunch, bouncy castles,
carnival snacks, a Healthy Butcher BBQ and delicious melon soup from Ravi Soups and the silent auction and raffle.
Thanks to over 500 donors who raised more than $50,000.00 for family-centred care initiatives at Sickkids
Hospital and thanks to our incredible committee who took the 2007 walk to new heights in 2008.
